Helen Hayes is an internationally recognised leader, with extensive experience in organisational change management and building high performance teams across a range of industrial settings. She has worked at the executive level in universities in Australia and Scotland and, for a period of eight years until recently, was a member of the Stanford University Advisory Council for Information.
She is an outstanding communicator, with the ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholders and implement creative processes that significantly improve organisational outcomes.
Helen has a remarkable leadership track record. In her roles at the University of Melbourne as Executive Director, Knowledge Transfer and Vice Principal for Information, and at the University of Edinburgh as Vice Principal for Knowledge Management, she has led large teams of business development professionals and information experts. She has been instrumental in the creation and implementation of organisational processes that have resulted in significant improvement in business functionality and outcomes. Helen’s inclusive and empathetic approach has also been praised for the manner in which she achieves high levels of team member engagement.
Helen has successfully coached and mentored senior executives for many years and is highly regarded as a trusted advisor and executive coach. Helen holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Australian Library and Information Association.
